At 3:00 today (Tuesday 24 Sep) the local paper will be taking photos for a story to mark the end of Sunday arvo sessions at the Ferntree Gully Hotel.

Margie and I will be there and it would be great if any other rockers can make it too.

If you are coming please try to dress in R'n'R style. Bring your rods down also.

If the reporter asks you about the shutting down of the Sunday sessions please do not criticise the venue or any of the people involved.

We have appreciated the hotel providing these Rockabilly arvos. We know the hotel is a business and it has to make commercial decisions. It is just a pity to lose something that has been so good for so long.

That's a bugger Rob, but I have to agree that the pub has to run at a profit and it was a pity that more folk didn't support it. It was a 250km round trip for us and was always worth every kilometre.
