on the 27th of august,1990,22 years to the day,one of the worlds best blues guitar players and singers took a fateful ride in a helicopter and never came back..i was privilged to have seen stevie and double trouble live in concert in a concrete jungle called the logan cambell centre in auckland,new zealand back in 1984,a masterful concert!only a small indoor venue,but?what a party....never forgotten,stevie ray.r.i.p.
