Congratulations to the Black Hat Daddies for their fantastic dance at Brown Hill, Ballarat on Saturday 15 October. The enthusiasm of this small but dedicated group of people who manage to organise 3 great dances a year in country Ballarat is to be commended. Itchy Fingers played to a capacity crowd, with members from Ballarat, Bendigo, Melbourne, Geelong and the Hunter Valley dance communities enjoying the hospitality of the Black Hat Daddies dance. A special thank you to Itchy Fingers who stepped in to be the band of the night at late notice. There music is always great and they kept the crowd on the dance floor for the entire night but there rendition of Eddie and The Cruisers 1983 Classic “Betty Lou’s Got a New Pair of Shoes” deserves a special mention as it was sensational. Keep an eye out as the Black Hat Daddies have their dances scheduled for March, June and September next year.
