Ballarat Rockers Rocked on!!

[Rockin Sweetheart]

I headed off to Ballarat Saturday in anticipation of a fantastic night of Rockin- I was not disappointed!!

Sweetrock was the band, it was the first time I had heard them play and what energy they performed with! Clear crisp sound and boy did they play some classics! They even played 'Why do fools fall in love' one of my favs
The floor was jumping before I arrived and it wasn't long before I was up and being thrown around like a rag doll (love it) I was very spoilt and hardly sat down all night (thank you ladies for lending me your husbands)

The floor was great and the numbers were just right so there were not too many people fighting over the same dance space. At dances I enjoy taking the time to see the efforts others go to to get dressed up for the evening, the beautiful dresses, skirts, suits, ties and hairstyles too. I saw some rockabilly hairstyles and I myself had done my hair in pincurls and was very happy with the result.

What a wonderful evening, I had such a great catch up with everyone, it has been far too long. Thank you Ballarat Rockers for another excellent opportunity to Rock my socks off!
